Fill/Refill your salt bin with one of our three options. You can pick from: Bulk Rock Salt, Bulk Treated Salt and Bulk Sand/Salt Mix. Bulk Rock Salt: Rock salt is used to control snow and ice. As the temperature drops, salt's effectiveness slows to the point that when you get down near -10 degrees (C) and below, salt is barely working. Bulk Treated Salt: When temperatures are below -10 degrees (C) rock salt is mixed with catalysts in order for the salt to brine and to work effectively. Treated salt is coloured blue to aid in product distribution when applying. Bulk Sand/Salt Mix: Great for traction during freezing rain and use on gravel lots/walkways.
